matthew arthur williams is a Glasgow-based artist, photographer, and dj.
they host passion play on subcity radio and coordinate see~delight club events within the glasgow nightspace.
In 2019 they were selected as artist-in-residence at Hospitalfield. They exhibited in the group show AMBIT: Photographies from Scotland at Street Level Photoworks, and was supported by The Elephant Trust in the production of their most recent book if I hear about skye one more time.
They co-produced and soundscaped the BBC/LUX commissioned work PR 4 US with Christian Charles Noelle.
In late 2019 their photographs were featured as part of Alberta Whittle’s Between a Whisper and a Cry Margaret Tait commissioned video and solo exhibition How Flexible Can We Make the Mouth at Dundee Contemporary Arts.
They are currently working through a new body of work including a new photo-based publication in the latter stages of completion.
