In Conflict first exhibited at Street Level Photoworks as part of AMBIT: Photographies from Scotland in 2019 and was the first leg of the series, in conflict, internalised, in progress. Beginning as a collaborative project, the portraits are made from a personal quest developed through conversations with friends, family and peers. The photographs address forms of acceptance and surviving in a British context described as ‘other’.
